I was born and raised in Northern Italy. I had been a dancer my whole life and I had big dreams, too big for my small town, so I left Italy right after High School and moved to LA to pursue a career in contemporary dance. Eventually, because of Injuries I had to stop dancing and I picked up photography.

I made of photography a career within a few months, venturing down the fashion photography industry. I moved from LA to Vegas to London to then finally find my place in the world in NYC. After a few years as a fashion photographer I started to feel torn inside as I realized the kind of images I was producing were contributing to create very unrealistic standards of beauty that made countless women suffer. I didn't want to be part of a self-esteem killer machine anymore so I decided to put my skills to use for good.

In October 2015 I created QUEST FOR BEAUTY and I started traveling the world by myself, photographing everyday women and asking them what Beauty means to them to redefine the meaning of the word itself.

While working on this project—visiting over 15 countries within a year and a half— I started realizing that traveling was my true North, I started to fall in love with the world, with its people and cultures, with its breathtaking landscapes, with the magic it hides. NYC suddenly became too small for my free spirit so on Christmas Eve 2016 I left my apartment, donated everything I had (beside two suitcases, one full of books!) to a homeless shelter and left the life I knew for a life on the road, the world has been my home since.

It's not always easy, it's definitely not always glamorous, but the joy travel gives me makes it all worth it. I travel to grow;  To Learn ,to be more human, more humble. To feel more lost than ever in the streets of an unfamiliar city and then find myself all over again. To feel alive, free, scared, excited, stunned, amazed, moved, touched. To FEEL anything at all. To find Beauty. To find Magic!

“ Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”
